The importance of experiential activities in childhood for environmental education is said, but experience of farming, stockbreeding, and fishing are not always examined. Furthermore, the fac tors of renewable energy awareness are not always clear from the perspective of experience of farming and so on. I analyze renewable energy awareness from the perspective of experiential activities in childhood, experience of farming, stockbreeding, and fishing by using the data of 291 university students in Nagasaki. Moreover I examine the effect of environmental education, authoritarian attitude, and knowledge of environmental pollution. It can be said that the viewpoint of natural activities in childhood and experience of farming is important to promote renewable energy awareness. But the knowledge of environmental pollution have no effect by using multiple regression analysis.

A cycle sharing system is useful for energy saving and reducing the amount of carbon dioxide emissions. But, thus far, the motivation to use a cycle sharing system is not sufficiently investigated, because of its newness.This paper analyzes some factors to introduce cycle sharing system from the perspective of authoritarian attitude, intrinsic motivation, environmental conservation behavior and experiential activities in childhood comparing with public transportation in Nagasaki City by using the data from 260 university students in Nagasaki.It is important to introduce cycle sharing system from the viewpoint of environmental conservation consciousness. But, comparing with public transportation in Nagasaki City, the useful perspective is not environmental conservation consciousness, but the purpose of using cycle sharing system.

<p>This research identifies the characteristics of urban residents cultivating agricultural products in Nagasaki City, Nagasaki Prefecture, one of the provincial core cities, Japan. The main findings are as follows. (1)The ratio of all the urban residents in the area who cultivated agricultural products in 2012 is 4.5%-33.6%. The ratio of this was different from the place in which they cultivated agricultural products. (2)The ratio of all the urban residents who cultivated agricultural products in some form or another in 2012 is about a little more than 30.0%. Most of the urban residents who cultivated agricultural products were elderly people and lived in urban fringe areas. (3)Most of the urban residents who cultivated agricultural products had experiences of gathering crops or fruits in farms, refusing volume reduction and participating in local community activities. Based on these findings, we propose a list of considerations for reviewing the significance for formation of residential environment and the promotion of cultivating agricultural products by urban residents in provincial core city.</p>

There were much information about Fukushima nuclear accident when 2011 Great Eastern Japan earthquake occurred. Then, I expect that the more we use media, the more anti-nuclear consciousness increase. So, I analyzes the relationship between consciousness of renewable energy and media use by using the data of 260 university students in Nagasaki.I can say that there are co-relation between TV use and consciousness of renewable energy but not internet use, newspaper and radio. Perhaps media use of students are a few cases, so the effects of media use are limited.

The system of lifetime employment tends to collapse recently, the rise of anxiety reduces some kinds of aspirations. This paper analyzes the relation between environmental conservation consciousness and anxiety by using the data of 260 university students in Nagasaki. Then I find that the affirmative side which anxiety brings to environmental protection.

2011 Great Eastern Japan earthquake collapsed the safety myth of nuclear power generation. This paperanalyzes positive attitude to renewable energy from the perspective of intrinsic motivation, authoritarian attitude,environmental conservation behavior and experiential activities in childhood by using the data of 260 universitystudents in Nagasaki.It can be said that it is important with the viewpoint of intrinsic motivation to the purpose of positive attitudeto renewable energy. Moreover, intrinsic motivation is effective to environmental conservation consciousness andenvironmental conservation behavior.

Taking two questionnaire surveys, we studied how students' consideration / behaviors changed through Kunimi High School's EMS approaches. The results revealed that students' environment-conscious behavior are due to both the influence from within Kunimi High School, such as the environmental manager and the environmental committee member, and the influence from outside media. As for the approach of EMS of the Kunimi high school, it was shown to the student established of environment-conscious behaviors also outside the school.

Many researchers insist that environmental education in childhood is important for environmental protection. This paper analyzes the relationship between environmental conservation behavior and family relationship from the perspective of nature experiential activities in childhood by using the data of 269 university students in Nagasaki. It is clarified that the viewpoints of nature experiential activities in childhood and family relations are effective for environmental conservation behavior. Moreover, the more one has brothers or sisters, the more one shows environmental conservation behavior.

  We conducted a survey of elementary and junior high school students aiming to clarify the actual state and issues of dietary life related to lifestyle-related diseases.<BR>  The subjects are a total of 411 students in Tokyo. We conducted a survey in September 2008. We surveyed items including eating behavior, food-related attitude and knowledge, frequency of cooking, cooking skills, and school meal time. Based on the survey, we were able to deduce the following issues and tendencies.<BR>1) The majority of elementary and junior high school students do not use knowledge on nutrition they learn at school in their daily lives.<BR>2) The rate of actually conducting healthy eating behavior and the rate of having the attitude and knowledge to lead a healthy dietary life tend to be lower for junior high school students than for elementary school students.<BR>3) About 30 to 40% of elementary and junior high school students rarely cook.<BR>4) Obtaining the knowledge of food, happiness in school lunch, and cooking frequency and skills are important to send healthy eating habits.

<p>ベルリンやハンブルクなどが革新的な都市といった評価を受けるのに対し，バーデン・ヴュルテンベルク州は保守的な州とされる。なかでも州都シュツットガルトを中心とした地域はシュヴァーベン地方とされる。大規模駅開発「シュツットガルト21」（以下，S21と略）が発表されて以降，同地方において初めて大規模で継続的な反対運動が生じた。本稿は，インタビューの際に聞かれた「根気よく取り組み発明する」（Tüftler und Erfinder）という地域的精神を手がかりにし，多くの団体が参加し継続的になされているという特徴をもつS21反対運動の背景を考察することを目的とする。シュヴァーベンのフレームに基づいた衣装，笛吹きや技術的講演などの工夫は，非シュヴァーベン出身者が反対運動に参加することを容易にしている。</p>

Today, the aspects of "Shequ" (community) is more important than "Work-unit" in discussing the policy in Beijing. "Work-unit" is out of date owing to a flow of population into Beijing, then"Shequ" is introduced. This paper analyzes the data of Shequ leader's environmental conservation behavior and consciousness. It is clarified that the viewpoints of communist party, media tools, educational background, are not effective. Moreover, environmental conservation behavior of Shequ leaders is not affected by authoritarian attitude. Our finding is that the environmental conservation behavior is connected with good administration of Shequ. I think that a leader of Shequ with good administration can think environmental conservation. While a leader of Shequ with bad administration must react many problems in Shequ, then cannot think environmental conservation. It can be said that it is important with the viewpoint of good administration in Shequ to the purpose of environmental conservation behavior of Shequ leader.

昨今の中国では市場経済化が激しく,大都市へ人口が流入している。これらの動きに伴い,とくに北京市で旧来の「単位」に代わって「社区」の導入が試みられている。本稿はこのような状況を踏まえ,中国北京市T区の環境保護意識を検討することを目的とする。検討にあたっては,日本で得られている環境保護意識研究の知見を参照する。北京市T区にあっては党所属やメディア効果といった視点よりはむしろ,「社区」が環境保護意識を論じるにあたって重要となる。社区の導入はコミュニティの観点を生み出し,環境保護意識を促進する。ただしこのコミュニティ意識は,権威主義的態度に促進されており,下からの自発的協力といった特徴をもっている。このような問題点はあるものの,環境保護意識を促進するためには,社区というコミュニティを生かしていくことが必要としえる。

The impact of environmental thought among Nazis has not always been considered with relation to the German Environmental Movement thus far. One of the causes of this is related to the influence of the 1970s. The seventies had a major impact on environmental thought. For example, Stone, Naess, and Singer were active at that time. Therefore, I believe that environmental thought before the 1970s has been underestimated. However, many studies show that the laws for the protection of nature during the Nazi Regime were in fact relatively advanced. Furthermore, the Green Party in Germany today is influenced by Anthroposophy. This paper examines the impact of environmental thought among Nazis on the German environmental movement.

本稿は, 『権威主義的パーソナリティ』を踏まえて, 権威主義的性格と環境保護意識の関係について検討することを目的とする.権威主義的性格の多くの側面のうち, どのような側面が環境保護意識と関係しているのだろうか.検討にあたっては, 権威主義的性格の「過同調と潜在的破壊性との共存」といった特徴に着目する.まず「過同調」と「破壊性」が, 環境保護意識とそれぞれどのような関係にあるかを検証した.結果は「過同調」については負の, 「破壊性」については正の相関関係が, それぞれ環境保護意識と見られた.次に, 「過同調」と「破壊性」が共存した場合の権威主義的性格と, 環境保護意識の関係をみた結果, 権威主義的性格の人々が高い環境保護意識を持つことが判明した.最後に, 権威主義的性格の人々が持つ環境保護意識について, ナチズムにおける環境保護への取り組みを参考にして検討した結果, 「権威主義的な環境保護意識」が今日存在することが明らかになった.

The purpose of this paper is to examine determinants of the authoritarian personality from the perspective of childhood relations with one's parents. In The Authoritarian Personality, the authoritarian type of person is shown to have a tendency toward idealization of the parents, and idealization of the family. However, he has a tendency not to talk with parents on certain issues during childhood. Further, it is necessary to think that parents, being the first authorities in the life of a child, handle the problem of discipline. The Authoritarian Personality insists that the authoritarian type of person tends to report a relatively harsh and more threatening type of home discipline in childhood. Thereafter, this parent-child relationship recurs in the attitude towards authority and social institutions in general. In Japan, by contrast, determinants of the authoritarian personality have been discussed primarily form the perspective of education, or the transmission of authority.<br> From randomly sampled survey data of 888 Tokyoites, we find in our high-scoring subjects both the superficial character of the identification with the parents and the consequent underlying resentment against them. Therefore, the orientation toward power and the contempt for the allegedly inferior and weak is considered as having been taken over from the parents' attitude toward the child. The main difference from the conclusion of The Authoritarian Personality is that the authoritarian personality is affected by talking with one's father in childhood. But many points that we found are the same as the conclusion of The Authoritarian Personality. Therefore, it is important to consider the authoritarian personality from the perspective of the relation to parents in childhood as well as the effect of education.

The purpose of this paper is to examine determinants of political participation from the perspective of authoritarian attitudes and arguments. In The Authoritarian Personality, the authoritarian type of man is compared with the democratic type (anti-authoritarian type) and the democratic type of man is shown to have a tendency to talk with parents on certain issues in childhood. But, we find that both the fondness for argument which is important for democracy and the authoritarian attitude are affected by talking with one's father in childhood. To talk with one's father in childhood is important but ambivalent in terms of political participation.

Max Horkheimer and Theodor Adorno give a radical account of the enlightenment which appears in <I>Dialektik der Aufklirung</I>. The aim of this paper is to consider the concept ‘Enlightenment’ by camparing it with the concept of ‘Rationality’ which is used in this paper as one of the main concepts in ‘Wissenschaft als Beruf. ’ We will find that ‘Enlightenment’ and ‘Rationality’ have some connections. For example, these concepts have the same meaning in some ways. Further, Horkheimer was influenced by Max Weber. By comparing these concepts, this paper suggests one reading that ‘Enlightenment’ can be interpreted in terms of ‘Rationality. ’
